The dining room at this upscale Vietnamese respite is a knockout—and so is the food from Chef Hannah An, of the family behind San Francisco favorites Thanh Long and Crustacean. With lush greenery, modern wood accents, elegant light fixtures and lacquered tables, this is definitely a place to see and be seen. The extensive menu accommodates the dietary restrictions of a celebrity clientele. Those whose careers don't depend on calorie avoidance should opt for the An family's signature noodles bathed with garlic and butter, or the beautifully tender shaking beef with cubes of stir-fried filet mignon. On the lighter side, caramelized black cod in a clay pot is a top choice, as it allows some wiggle room for the excellent pear tarte Tatin.
